Teaching onboard Dawn Princess

Wow! We did it again :) Bec and I were guest Art / Craft instructors on board the amazing Dawn Princess. Our classes were amazing with most classes having Over 40 attendees & several having up to 103!!! We taught a variety of classes, all unique and individual To our styles. Class List - Mixed media magnets, art journalling including making Gelli plate prints! Glass collage pendants, beading, button bracelets, drawing faces, tangling & more All classes were enjoyed by everyone and we always went Over the time allotted as we too were having so much fun :) Bec has lots of photos and I have a few, I can include my pics here - but most of the time We were so busy we forgot to take pics haha It was a beautiful cruise, with amazing organization by the cruise Director and his staff. I certainly hope to be invited again, and we were nominated as "consummate hosts" by several Students and one lady wrote a beautiful complimentary letter to the Cruise Director about us :) Heres a few pics - thanks for sharing this amazing experience with me by following my blog. Oh and if you are going to ask me "how to get a gig like this" - then here's the answer, so please don't Email me (last time I was inundated by questions - all emails were just wanting to know how & weren't even Supportive or happy for Bec and I, they just wanted to know how we did it! So here it is - DO WHAT YOU LIVE WITH PASSION! Be active in the community, hope you get "discovered" as we did, via an agent! The cruise companies don't employ anyone themselves! Bec and I have a good hostory of providing classes, of sharing our expertise and an enormous passio for all things creative :) There are also contracts to arrange and lots of paperwork, but it's all worth it :) Stay tuned for photos :)

    2. I too was on your Dawn Princess experience. and am now following you gals. We did indeed have a most creative and enjoyable time. I took every class I could squeeze in. I made a lanyard from buttons after taking the beading class, and you showed us how to thread buttons. Now back at school, and proudly wearing my lanyard. I have had so many comments, and have put your names forward as inspiration-alists. You and Rebecca did an amazing job. i am glad to hear that you received some words of praise from the Cruise Director. I was the one that said I would take up a petition if necessary, to have more crafty lessons on board. Hope to see you two some other day. Regards.
