Magic Carpet Ride - OWOH Giveaway

Welcome One World One Heart participants to my blog...

In the beginning there were some basic chipboard bases,
they were transformed into backgrounds with paint & paper...
which became the starting place for my ACEO's

With a little bit of drawing & more painting & the addition
of some collage elements, they soon turned into this stack of little art cards.

Last year my sweet Mum helped me to choose my winners (I had a few giveaways) Mum painstakingly cut up each persons comment that I printed out and we had a lucky draw. My Mum recently passed away on November 29th, 2009. I miss her so much and I will miss her help this year!
Visit One World One Heart to join the fun, then visit all the links, meet some amazing artists, find kindred spirits & maybe win a giveaway too!

Now for the fun part......... I will be giving away several prizes, ACEO's that I usually sell in my ETSY store, and also some gorgeous digital delivery GYPSY Collage Sheets. I have several to give away, so the more people that comment, the more I am going to give away!

Anyone is eligible, by leaving me a comment on this post - It would be nice if you take the time to have a peek around at some of the other posts in my blog - that's what OWOH is about, meeting new artists and visiting all the wonderful blogs (& creativity) that are out there in blogland.

    I am sorry for the loss of your sweet Mother. I know the void is huge and your heart is still torn in pieces. It's still raw as November seems like yesterday. Take one day at a time and find the preciousness of THAT day and let the beautiful memories of your time with her bring you joy. Don't think ahead to any other day or month or year. Just take care of THIS day. There is something in us that knows we can get through ONE day for sure.     Well we have a lot in common. I lost my Dad 2 years ago in November. He died due to lung cancer. Art and blogging helped heal me I can say this is the first year I feel OK.     Wow, I love those art cards! I appreciate how you showed the intermediary stage with the backgrounds only. It's nice to see how a piece of art is created - very inspirational. Now my fingers are itching to create! I love the "feeling green" and "Abigail" cards - very expressive.

    Your ATCs(or ACEOs) are lovely! (let's trade sometime) I am on the BEST yahoo group ever (I've been doing yahoo groups for about 10 years)...Honestly this one is the best ever...just a year old now...."The Sum of All ATCs"...but we do other stuff also,not just ATCs. The owner is friendly, talented and generous, and the membership is as well.and CHATTING is allowed!! :) that is very rare, most ATC groups I have joined or stayed with, chatting is not allowed unless it is ATC or technique related.

    anyway...LOVED being here,GREAT giveaway :)
